Title: The Orchestra of Earth and Soul

Location: Fanal Forest, Madeira (Portugal)
Description: The fog was rolling in so thick this day that I had to attempt this shoot several times to try and capture it with just the right atmosphere! When it was too foggy, you couldn't see anything, but when it was too clear, the background became too distracting with the busyness of all the trees and branches everywhere. I probably spent a good hour running back and forth from the camera to this tree while attempting to capture this scene in just the right amount of lighting and fog - a tricky feat when it changes every few seconds!
I had set my camera to time-lapse mode so I could spend a few minutes striking various poses in this scene while the camera kept taking photos every couple of seconds. At one point I decided to strike a few dancing poses, not realizing that the lean and shape of my arms and body was in perfect unison with the opening of the foggy tree in the background - fitted together like a puzzle piece within nature. 🥰 I was pleasantly surprised when looking through the images after to see how this worked out!
