Collection: Dream

Dream consists of 18 new pieces: My favourite images I’ve captured over the last 6 months, and which hold a deeper meaning to me.

For me, each piece carries a sense of connection with our Mother Earth, as well as another quality: The Art of Dreaming. The ability to let wonder and imagination carry us into the world, to reconnect us to our childlike souls, to see both ourselves and the world for everything beautiful it is and could be.

While capturing these images, I became immersed in these moments as well as my dreams, losing myself to a creative flow and the feeling of stronger connection to both myself and the earth around me. I dreamed I could be friends with the elements, and my dreams became reality. I could hear the earth whispering through the arctic winds, I could feel her gentle touch through the mist of the waterfalls, and I could feel her heartbeat thrumming with life beneath the stone and ice as I lay my cheek against it.

When we dream, we can see our lives as epic stories, embarking on quests in search of light, and imagining that we are brave and courageous - often becoming so in the process. We dream of the future, sometimes terrifyingly so, where there may be nothing left but stories... but we also dream of hope; of a future where our stories will continue, and where we live in harmony with the earth and with each other.

We must never stop dreaming. These images are my reminder to that. I hope they can ignite a spark of dreaming in you, too. ♥
