Description: This was one of those crazy, dream-like nights that will stick with me in my memories forever. I was living out of a camper-van in Iceland, trying to follow the clear night skies with the hope of finally witnessing my first aurora show. Finally, on the 4th night, the clouds broke open and the northern lights came out to play with the biggest and most brilliant show I've ever seen!
After taking this self portrait, I remember spending hours just wandering solo around the landscape in the dark, just by the light of the aurora glowing all around me. It felt surreal, alien-like and absolutely unreal all at once, leaving me feeling almost like a crazy person... singing, dancing and talking to the Icelandic elves as I carried on wandering all through the night in complete awe of the sky dancing above.
