If there's one thing I learned during my 2 weeks in the Faroe Islands, it's this: Out of every 10-or-so hikes up the mountains where you find yourself stuck in rain and fog so thick you can't see 10 feet in front of you, there will be at least *one* hike where the clouds actually do break apart to reveal an ethereal view like none other. This image was from that one hike.
And this moment just proved to me that all the foggy, rainy hikes are worth it... because it's hard to find such beautiful moments like this without first enduring the rain.
