Description: I have dreamed of seeing and shooting at this enchanted location for many years, so it felt amazing to finally see this dream come to fruition! I had the opportunity in Autumn 2021 to spend an entire month on this island... the perfect amount of time for a slow wanderer like myself. It allowed me to take my time to really "soak in" my surroundings and get a feel for the locations, a process that lets my creative brain bubble up with image ideas without feeling rushed.
Over the weeks that I had here, I spent many days wandering through this mountain-top forest in all kinds of weather: hot dry sun, cold drenching rains, epic windstorms, cool clear nights, wet fog, dry fog, fog so thick you couldn't see more than 10 feet in front of you... and sometimes, an ephemeral moment among all the wind/rain/fog/sun to capture the perfect fleeting atmospheric images I've always dreamed of.
