Title: Follow the Light

Location: Drumheller (Alberta, Canada)
Description: A self portrait taken in the Canadian prairies as the sky lit up with beautiful, dancing aurora. My partner and I spent the night camping in our vehicle with hopes that the aurora would show up that night - and at around 1:30am, it did! I happened to have a candle in my bag from a previous shoot, which ended up being the best addition I could imagine for this image, taking it to the next level... holding onto and looking into the light, while the nighttime sky swirled and danced all around me. I wanted this image to portray the idea of always looking for the light in life, and how even the darkest days can make the light seem even brighter.
