Title: Dreaming into the Day

Location: Fanal Forest, Madeira (Portugal)
Description: A self portrait taken from the mountain tops of Madeira, Portugal. We drove up this mountain in the early morning darkness, hoping that we would be immersed in the foggy clouds to shoot some misty forest scenes... but when we reached the top of the mountain and forest, there was no fog. So we hiked up to this viewpoint and realized, all the clouds were below us! Not what we had been expecting, but equally as magical in its own way as the run rose and lit up an entire ocean of clouds below us, everything glowing in brilliant pink and oranges colours. I found this lone tree perched on the edge of a rocky cliff and knew I had to take a self portrait beside it, thus resulting in this image.
